Muthelo follows the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) Verification Manual, Gazette No.810 which defines a standard and methodology that is coherent and transparent and sets industry standards. In addition to adhering to the minimum requirements of the verification manual, we ensure that necessary standards are maintained and enforced beyond accreditation.
Muthelo is accredited by the South African National Accreditation System.
Upon a client accepting our proposal or quotation, a service level agreement (SLA) is entered into and signed by both parties according to the scope of work.
The Rating Information Pack Is sent to the client, the Analyst arranges for a pre-site visit or briefing session within a day.
The analyst attends pre-site meeting or briefing session at the client's premises where the process is explained; the date for the on-site visit is arranged and the information submission is agreed on. The service agreement is signed.
At the briefing session, a date will be decided on which the client must return the rating pack in order to commence the verification.
The client submits the information on the agreed date and the verification analyst then analyses the collated information and selects samples which will be sent to a client.
An on-site verification is then conducted and within 5 days; a provisional report is sent to the client if all required information has been provided.
The Rating Outcome is either accepted or an appeal can be lodged by a client. The appeal should be done within 5 days after receiving the provisional report.
If the Rating Outcome is accepted. The final Verification Certificate is issued.
